Translating Timing into an Architecture: The Synergy of COTSon and HLS (Domain Expertise—Designing a Computer Architecture via HLS)

<div>Two AXIOM boards interconnected up to 18 Gbps via inexpensive USB-C cables. The AXIOM board is based on a Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale + ZU9EG platform, four high-speed ports (up to 18 Gbps), an Arduino socket, and DDR4 extensible up to 32 GiB. As can be seen from the picture, we do not need any external switch but just two simple USB-C cables to connect the two systems.</div>
