Description

The issue of global food safety and security will continue to be a prominent concern worldwide for the next five decades and beyond. Plant diseases have exerted a significant impact on food safety and security across the entire food chain, spanning from primary production to consumption.

However, conventional pesticides currently in use for plant protection may pose risks to plant disease management, environmental contamination, and human health. Therefore, it is imperative to urgently focus on developing innovative and promising green technologies for plant protection in the forthcoming decades.

The aim of this Special Issue is to highlight the advances in novel green plant protection technology. Manuscripts submitted should present novel approaches and recent advances in the application of new and green plant protection technology and other relevant research fields. Original research and review articles are welcome.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Research on the novel green plant protection technology
  • Research on the biomimetic synthesis of novel analogs of natural product pesticides
  • Research on the total synthesis of novel natural pesticides
  • Research on the applications of plant immune regulation agents
  • Research on the toxicology of novel natural pesticides
  • Research on the mechanism of action of novel natural pesticides
  • Research on the resistance of the conventional chemical pesticides
  • Research on the improvement of synthetic method of novel natural pesticides
  • Research on the degradation analysis of novel natural pesticides
  • Research on the isolation of novel natural product pesticides
