Receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curves of the nomograms in the training (a) and testing (b) datasets. The nomogram had good discriminative power with an area under the ROC curve of 0.77 (95% confidence interval, 0.74 to 0.79) and 0.77 (95% confidence interval, 0.75 to 0.80) in the training and testing datasets, respectively. The discrimination is quantified by calculating the area under the ROC curve (AUC). An AUC of 0.5 indicates no discrimination, and an AUC of 1.0 represents excellent discrimination.
