Hypoxia-Induced GST1 Exerts Protective Effects on Trophoblasts via Inhibiting Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) Accumulation

<div>GSTP1 is induced by hypoxia exposure and scavenged ROS. (a) After being culture in normoxia or hypoxia for 12 or 24 hours, western blot was performed to detect HIF-1<i>α</i> and GSTP1 protein levels. (b) After being cultured under normoxia or hypoxia with overexpressed GSTP1, intracellular ROS was stained and imaged by using Olympus x71 microscope.
