Energy of each microwave link is attenuated by rainfall and other factors between the microwave transmitter and receiver, and the attenuation is recorded in the data acquisition system. Thus, rain-induced attenuation of three links can be obtained with the help of extraction algorithm of the rain-induced attenuation. h and v represent horizontal and vertical polarizations, respectively.
