Silica-Copper Oxide Composite Thin Films as Solar Selective Coatings Prepared by Dipping Sol Gel

film deposited on stainless steel plate. The sample was prepared using a sol at
<math id="M18" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mstyle mathvariant="normal"><mrow><mi>S</mi><mi>i</mi></mrow></mstyle><mo>/</mo><mstyle mathvariant="normal"><mrow><mi>C</mi><mi>u</mi></mrow></mstyle><mo>=</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></math> and 3 dipping cycles. Diffraction peaks corresponding to CuO (copper
oxide, tenorita), SiO<sub>2</sub> (silicon oxide, cristobalita), and the
stainless steel (SS) are observed.</table>
