The median nerve depicted as a fascicular pattern can be identified on the superficial layer of the flexor tendons at the wrist joint level. Identifying the median nerve at the wrist level and then moving the probe to the forearm makes it easier to identify the median nerve between the flexor digitorum superficialis and flexor digitorum profundus.
