Assessment of GSSG by the EDTA-modified NADPH/glutathione reductase assay: correlation between GSSG and Cu(II)-GSSG. NADPH (0.2 mM), glutathione reductase (2 U/mL), and EDTA (2 mM) were added to solutions containing increasing concentrations of the Cu(II)-GSSG complex (5–60 μM).
