[Retracted] Nanoemulsion and Encapsulation Strategy of Hydrophobic Oregano Essential Oil Increased Human Prostate Cancer Cell Death via Apoptosis by Attenuating Lipid Metabolism

<div>Schematic representation of OENE induced apoptosis in prostate cancer <i>in vitro</i>. OENE inhibited the expression of <i>fatty acid synthase (FASN), cholesterol biosynthesis genes (HMGCR)</i>, and <i>regulatory protein SREPB1</i>. This might have resulted in cell growth inhibition, proliferation, and induced apoptosis. The induction of apoptosis was confirmed by monitoring BAX, BCL2, and caspase 3 protein expression.</div>
