Apoptosis-inducing activity analysis by TUNEL assay. Fluorescence photographs of HeLa cells treated with n-frutalin and r-frutalin (both at 100 μg/mL) for 24 h and analysed by TUNEL assay are shown. In the control, cells were incubated with PBS buffer instead of the lectins.
