The Effects of Pterostilbene on Neutrophil Activity in Experimental Model of Arthritis

Priming of neutrophils in arthritic rats. Arthritic animals (AA) showed significantly higher spontaneous (0) and PMA-stimulated ROS production ( AA versus control). PMA caused dose-dependent increase in ROS production which was significantly higher in comparison with spontaneous ROS production in arthritic rats ( AA-stimulated versus AA-spontaneous). Values are mean ± SEM, . RLU s: relative light units multiplied by time (seconds).
