Involvement of early endosomes and lysosomes in the intracellular trafficking of iRGD-cMLVs. HeLa cells were incubated with DiD-labeled iRGD-cMLV nanoparticles (red) for 30 min at 4°C to synchronize internalization. The cells were then incubated at 37°C for 45 min and immunostained with anti-EEA1 antibody (green, (a)) or for 2 h and immunostained with anti-Lamp1 antibody (green, (b)). The nucleus of cells was counterstained with DAPI. Scale bar represents 10 μm.
