Expression of β-catenin and COX-2 at the mRNA level in rats with AOM-induced colon carcinogenesis after treatment with IP6. The expressions of β-catenin and COX-2 mRNA were assessed by quantitative RT PCR. IP6 downregulates the expression of (a) β-catenin and (b) COX-2 in a dose-dependent manner. The results show a typical pattern from the 3 experiments performed. *Indicates significant difference by Tukey’s test () relative to their respective control.
