Effect of Boron Addition on the Thermal, Degradation, and Cytocompatibility Properties of Phosphate-Based Glasses

Thermal expansion coefficient (𝛼) and dilatometric softening temperature (𝑇_d) of the glasses in the system of P₄₅Ca₁₆Mg₂₄Na_(15−𝑥)B_𝑥 and P₅₀Ca₁₆Mg₂₄Na_(10−𝑥)B_𝑥(𝑥= 0–10) as a function of B₂O₃ content (mol%). The values of 𝛼 is measured in the range between 50 and 250°C.
