Effect of varying concentrations of different substrate combinations on the excretion of α-Gal activity by T. evansii (WF-3) in the culture medium incubated for fifth and sixth days. GG + SUC = guar gum + sucrose, SM + SUC = soya bean meal + sucrose, WS + SUC = wheat straw + sucrose, and SM = soya meal. The culture conditions were the same as described in Section 2. The experiments have been conducted three times and the values are shown as mean ± SD.
