TNF-alpha expression after pK1-5 treatment in vitro. 106 cells were seeded on 10 cm plates and transfected with Lipofectamine and pCMVTNT-vectors or plain medium and incubated for 48 hours. Cells were harvested, solubilised in PBS/complete, and treated with repeated freeze-thaw cycles and protein levels were analysed. TNF-alpha was quantified with human (HuH7) or murine (Hepa1-6, Hepa129) TNF-alpha ELISAs. Data are shown as mean pg TNF-alpha/100 g protein ± SEM. = 4, < 0.05 (compared to plain medium).
