IL-33 increased IL-13 and IL-5 production by fibrocytes. Fibrocytes were stimulated with 10 ng/mL of IL-33 for 72 h. IL-13 (a) and IL-5 (b) levels in the supernatants were measured by ELISA. Horizontal thick bars represent the median of each group. Fibrocytes cultured in the presence of GolgiStop during the last three h of culture were stained with anti-IL-13 antibody (right panel) or isotype control IgG (left panel) (c). Intracytoplasmic IL-13 was detected by immunofluorescent microscopy. .
