Total and undiagnosed atrial fibrillation not treated with OAC. In terms of the expected AF prevalence [9, 10], the percentage of undiagnosed AF rises with age. It is notable that the greatest proportion of AF cases was in patients aged 70–74 years (51.2%; CI = 95%, 47.8–54.5) with unknown AF and no OAC treatment.
