Prediction of Small Bowel Obstruction Caused by Bezoars Using Risk Factor Categories on Multidetector Computed Tomographic Findings

Calcareous bezoar in the distal segment of the small bowels without SBO. A nodular hyper dense calcareous bezoar (arrows) was found by accident in the axial (a) and coronal (b) images of the abdominal MDCT examination. The bezoar size was cm and a volume of 0.403 cm3, but no any SBO sign or secondary change was observed in the patient.
