Expression of osteoblastic markers in muscle discs induced with osteogenic medium in vitro. Each muscle disc was extracted for total RNA and analyzed after 2 and 8 weeks of osteogenic induction, respectively, for expression of genes associated with osteogenesis by quantitative RT-PCR. indicates significant difference () relative to the control group.
