An Investigation on the Therapeutic Effect of Thymosin 4 and Its Expression Levels in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Mice

Comparison of thymosin β4 (Tβ4) levels in the plasma of streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice and control mice. STZ-induced type 1 diabetic mice and age-matched control mice were sacrificed at 16 weeks after the final injection of STZ. The plasma Tβ4 levels were measured using ELISA, and no significant difference was found between the two groups. NS: no significant difference; DM: diabetes mellitus.
