Effect of Gyejibokryeong-hwan (GBH) on hippocampal levels of BDNF and p-CREB/CREB, as measured via Western blotting, in mice with reserpine-induced depression. Isolated hippocampal lysates were analyzed via Western blotting using (a) BDNF and (b) p-CREB/CREB antibodies. β-Actin was used as the loading control. Data are representative of three independent experiments and are presented as the mean ± standard deviation (SD) (one-way ANOVA; < 0.001 versus normal; p < 0.05, p < 0.01, p < 0.001 versus control).
