A High-Fat Diet Exacerbates the Course of Experimental <i>Trypanosoma cruzi</i> Infection That Can Be Mitigated by Treatment with Simvastatin

<div>Representative photomicrographs of histological sections of heart tissue of mice infected with <i>Trypanosoma cruzi.</i> C57BL/6 mice were infected or not with the VL-10 strain of <i>T. cruzi</i> and fed, or not, with high-fat diet.
