Initial SVRI (a, AUC 0.923, cut-off point 1140 dyn·s·cm-5·m2, ) was more powerful than simultaneous serum lactate (b, AUC 0.824, cut-off point 52.6 mg/dL, ) for predicting 28-day mortality.
