Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Effect of Eucommia ulmoides Polysaccharide in Hepatic Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury by Regulating ROS and the TLR-4-NF-κB Pathway

EUP improves liver function and oxidative stress injury in SD rats. Compared with the I/R group, ALT and AST were significantly decreased in the EUP pretreatment groups, and the reduction in the EUP high-dose (EUPH) pretreatment group was greater than that in the medium-dose (EUPM) and low-dose (EUPL) pretreatment groups (a, b). The difference was statistically significant. Similarly, in terms of reducing oxidative stress damage, compared with the I/R group, all of the EUP pretreatment groups showed significantly reduced oxidative stress damage caused by I/R, and the effect of EUPH pretreatment was most significant (c, d) (compared with the I/R group, ; compared with the EUPH group, ).
