(a) Systolic blood pressure (SBP) in the two treatment groups over time. Target of SBP in the intensive group and the standard group was less than 120 mmHg and 140 mmHg, respectively. (b) Hazard ratio prediction of systolic blood pressure over time adjusted for treatment effect and other covariates. It is shown that as blood pressure decreases over time due to treatment effect, the risk also decreases. This reduction is more in LFM. Also, the hazard ratio in the simple Cox model (included just baseline SBP) is fixed over time. and 6385 in LFM and LM, respectively, also ().
