<div>The apoptosis of NCMs induced by H/R was evaluated by TUNEL staining. The apoptotic NCMs referred to the TUNEL-positive cells (brown). The apoptotic index was defined as the ratio of TUNEL-positive cells relative to all NCMs per field. Data was shown as mean ± SD.
