Effect of DNAJA3 and DNAJA4 in the growth of cells with wild type YDJ1. Growth of DNAJA3- and DNAJA4-expressing cells was evaluated under nonstress conditions Wild type cells contained an empty plasmid to provide selection (black circles), a plasmid expressing DNAJA3 (--X--), or a plasmid expressing DNAJA4 (open circles). Growth was monitored at specified intervals by measuring and aliquot of the culture at OD₆₀₀. The fold increase, relative to the initial OD₆₀₀ of the culture, is presented.
