TRAF6 Promoted Tumor Glycolysis in Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer by Activating the Akt-HIFα Pathway
Figure 3
Akt-HIF-1α axis was involved in TRAF6-mediated tumor glycolysis. (a) TRAF6 shRNAs suppress hexokinase-2 transcription. Hexokinase-2 mRNA levels were quantified by RT-PCR as described. (b) The transcriptional activities of HIF-1α were decreased after TRAF6 knockdown. HIF-1α reporter gene was transfected into NSCLC cells, and the effect of TRAF6 shRNA on HIF-1α transcriptional activities was evaluated. (c) TRAF6 shRNA inhibited Akt activation in NSCLC. After TRAF6 shRNA transfection, the phosphorylation of Akt, S6, and hexokinase-2 expression was examined. , , and vs. the sh-GFP group.
