Sirt-1 Regulates Physiological Process and Exerts Protective Effects against Oxidative Stress

<div>Sirt-1 positively promotes cell proliferation in SK-N-SH cells. (a) Stable knockdown of Sirt-1 by introducing shRNA targeting to Sirt-1 mRNA was performed, and knockdown efficacy was confirmed in four individual clones. (b) Stable overexpression of Sirt-1 was measured by semiquantitative western blot analysis to confirm the Sirt-1 protein level.
