The Effects of Combining Cancer Drugs with Compounds Isolated from Combretum zeyheri Sond. and Combretum platypetalum Welw. ex M.A. Lawson (Combretaceae) on the Viability of Jurkat T Cells and HL-60 Cells
Figure 6
The antiproliferative effects of combining CP 404 and chlorambucil on Jurkat T cells. Chlorambucil (0–16 μg/ml) and CP 404 (GI50, 1/2 GI50, 1/4 GI50, 1/8 GI50, 1/16 GI50, and 1/32 GI50) were combined and incubated with Jurkat T cells for 72 hours. The MTT assay was used to determine the number of viable cells present in the sample. When Jurkat T cells were incubated with varying amounts of chlorambucil combined with CP 404, there was no significant difference in the cell viability. Cell density corresponds to cell viability: the higher the cell density, the more viable cells present in the sample. The values are (SD) of 2 replicate data sets.
