Propranolol Suppresses Proliferation and Migration of HUVECs through Regulation of the miR-206/VEGFA Axis

<div>Propranolol inhibits survival of HUVECs through demethylation of pre-miR-206. (a) Top-ten upregulated miRNAs in propranolol-treated (80 <i>μ</i>M) HUVECs comparing with control cells. (b) HUVECs were treated with 80 <i>μ</i>M propranolol for 48 h, and the mRNA level of miR-206 was determined by RT-qPCR. (c) Methylation and unmethylation status of the pre-miR-206 gene were measured by MS-PCR. (d) The mRNA level of miR-206 in cells was determined by RT-qPCR after miR-206 antagomir transfection. (e) Cell viability was detected by CCK-8 kit.
