Passive Mechanical Properties of Human Medial Gastrocnemius and Soleus Musculotendinous Unit

<div>Illustration of the tendon excursion method. The moment arm was calculated as the first derivative of the ratio of the change in muscle-tendon length (<i>Δ</i>MTJ) of the medial gastrocnemius and soleus aspect of the Achilles tendon to the changes in ankle angle (<i>Δ</i>angle), respectively. For example, moment arm at 0° was calculated as the derivative at 0° over ±1° interval.</div>
