Detection of <i>mecA</i> and 16S rRNA Genes Using Real-Time PCR Can Be Useful in Diagnosing Iliopsoas Abscess, Especially in Culture-Negative Cases: RT-PCR for Iliopsoas Abscess

<div>Patient enrollment in this study. Among 32 patients with iliopsoas mass region, six were excluded due to lack of real-time PCR results. As a result, 22 patients with iliopsoas abscess and four with noninfectious mass were enrolled in the current study.</div>
