Inhibitory effect of PSE extract on the production of cytokines and PGE2. Effect of PSE on the proinflammatory cytokines and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) produced by LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. The cells were pretreated 1 μg/mL LPS for 1 h and treated with 1-50 μg/mL PSE for 24 h. The culture supernatant was measured by ELISA (a–e). value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant by Duncan’s test.
