Comparison of a Minimally Invasive Tissue-Sparing Posterior Superior (TSPS) Approach and the Standard Posterior Approach for Hip Replacement

<div>The patient is placed in a lateral position on a standard surgical table. The greater trochanter is palpated, and skin incision is performed starting at two-thirds of the width of the greater trochanter from its anterior margin and extends for 6–8 cm. The length of the skin incision must be at least 1.5 times larger than the diameter of the femoral head.</div>
