Radiographs of a 49-year-old man with pain in his right hip. (a) Anteroposterior X-ray and coronal CT images of the pelvis showed narrowing of hip joint space and destruction of bone. Coronal MRI (cut) of the pelvis showed diffuse edema of the right hip joint involving almost all muscles of the right hip.
