It is observed that the SMGC predicts a higher volumetric production rate at SMGC (up to 0.11 pg/mLh for the HARV culture at 120 h postinfection) compared to the EGC values (up to 0.01 pg/mLh for the shake flask). As observed, no significant difference in concentration was obtained between both conditions, but there is a trend to increase the recombinant protein production in the case SMGC.
