Antibiotic-Potentiating Effect of Some Bioactive Natural Products against Planktonic Cells, Biofilms, and Virulence Factors of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Figure 1
Effect of selected combination on (a) pyocyanin production, (b) swarming motility, and (c) swimming motility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain ATCC 27853. C1: ceftazidime (1.95 μg/mL)+thymol (165.05 μg/mL); C2: amikacin (0.16 μg/mL)+sinapic acid (2.20 μg/mL); C3: norfloxacin (0.38 μg/mL)+curcumin (88.42 μg/mL); C4: amikacin (1.38 μg/mL)+sinapic acid (5.37 μg/mL). Statistical analysis was performed with Dunnett’s multiple comparison test using two-way ANOVA; and between the single treatment and the combination.
