Mice Recognise Mice in Neighbouring Rearing Cages and Change Their Social Behaviour

(a) Mice in the same cage as the test mice are the cagemates, next to the cage are neighbours, and mice two next to the cage are strangers. (b) Experimental time schedules. For 3 weeks, the housing cages containing the mice remained in the same location. Afterwards, we performed behavioural tests.
