Pharmacological Activation of Rev-erbα Attenuates Doxorubicin-Induced Cardiotoxicity by PGC-1α Signaling Pathway

A schematic representation of SR9009-activated Rev-erbα which protects against doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity through PGC-1α signaling. Activation of Rev-erbα by SR9009 preserves PGC-1α and downstream signaling NRF1, UCP2, and TFAM, which further alleviates oxidative stress and apoptosis, consequently contributing to inhibition of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity.
