Illustration of adaptive epoch learning. Once the FSLDA model is available, we fine-tune it with the support set using the idea of “chunk by chunk” and get the corresponding sequential with the query set. The fine-tuning process terminates if the accuracy gain is negligible. Note that adaptive epoch learning runs on the validation classes of the base dataset.
