PC-1: polyclonal Tr1 cells; XN-1: Tr1 cells with xenoantigen specificity. (c) The cell number of expanded CD4⁺ T, PC-1, and XN-1 cells was calculated after seven days and 14 days of polyclonal or xenoantigen stimulation. Treg expansion was determined as fold expansion, summarized as cell number of expanded Tr1 cells at the end of each stimulation cycle divided by the number of Tr1 cells at the beginning of expansion culture.
