[Retracted] Melatonin Attenuates Cisplatin-Induced Ototoxicity via Regulating the Cell Apoptosis of the Inner Ear

Melatonin inhibits cisplatin-induced expression of apoptosis-related proteins in HEI-OC1 cells and mouse basement membrane. (a) qPCR was used to detect apoptosis-related protein expression in HEI-OC1 cells. There was no statistical difference between the control group and the melatonin group. In the cisplatin group, the mRNA expression of Bax, caspase-3, and caspase-9 increased significantly, and the mRNA expression of Bcl-2 decreased.
