Map of the 2013 South Korean power grid. This map shows the connectivity of major power grid infrastructure in mainland Korea, that is, power plants (red circles), high-voltage transmission substations (dark blue circles), and power lines (dark blue lines). Transformers connect buses that are too close together to be shown in this image. For security purposes, data is simplified to only publicly available data from the Korean Power Exchange [20]. Jeju Island off the southern coast of Korea is also excluded from the image because it is not considered in the current analysis.
