The red lines demonstrate the performance of the local- mechanism using only disease-related information of the past one season, and the blue lines demonstrate the performance of the local- mechanism using disease-related information of the past five seasons. The simulations are carried out in a scale-free network with network size and average degree . The results are based on the last 500 epidemic seasons.
