Radar diagrams showing proximities of two MSAs to each of the five communities, detailed in Table 3. While Portland shows a diversity of high-to-moderate proximities among communities, San Francisco is high in proximity to two communities and close to 0 for all others. This could indicate a lower diversity of economic activities in San Francisco compared to Portland and is an area for future research. Proximities were calculated using network 1 (N = 68).
