Measurement of serum HO-1 in healthy volunteers using a commercial ELISA kit (HO-1 ELISA kit; Enzo, Farmingdale, NY, USA). Serum HO-1 at 1 : 1 dilution (×1) is plotted against the % recovery, which was calculated by spiking the samples with 3.13 ng/mL of the recombinant human HO-1 protein at a dilution of 1 : 2.
