Therapeutic Efficacy of Alpha-Lipoic Acid against Acute Myocardial Infarction and Chronic Left Ventricular Remodeling in Mice

<div>ALA enhanced survival after AMI. By day 28 post-AMI, 9/10 of the mice in the ALA-treated group survived, whereas only 7/14 of the control mice survived.
