Modeling of the psychosocial distress factor. The factors contributing to the psychosocial distress index were derived from an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and included -scores of the following six measures of the NIH Toolbox Emotion Battery with their corresponding factor loadings: sadness, fear, loneliness, anger, perceived hostility, and perceived rejection.
